Was just wondering but anyone else notice that these stock exhaust seems louder than most other stock pipe on other bikes? Or am i imagining things?

You are imagining thigs I think my bike sounds like a sewing machine lol not too bad when you wind it up but I think mine is pertty quiet

Get the micron dual outlet slip on. Looks cool, sounds great, and it's easy to do yourself. I prefer alot of noise like d and d, but I usually ride late so I opted for this milder pipe so my neighbors wouldn't stone me. A good sound for a good price.

Hehe i guess i was imagining thing. I got yoshi slip on and it sounds awesom.. I think i might have a leak tho, might have to get a new gasket.

I am here in southern california and the cops are starting to hassle about exhaust noise. The only thing they let slide are stock exhaust pipes. I was thinking about getting the RS-5 Yosh with a power commander, but since they are out in full force I don't know if it is worth it.

I thought the stock pipe on my bike was extremely quiet. All you could ever here was engine noise. All thats changed now of course

Hehe well i rode serveral 50 and 250 cc bikes before this, and those were quite. Plus a vespa... Egad those were some embarassing days.. Was fun tho.

I thought it sounded pretty nice and quiet for a race bike. R1 and R6 and kawi 636 are louder. Even the gixxer sounds loud and high pitched out of the box. The honda is the least noisey 600 full fairing race bike I have heard.

R-6 LOUD are you serious. My buddy's girl ride an R-6 and it is by far the quietest thing I have ever heard. That thing sound like it's humming going down the high way. Needless to say he took the stock exhaust of and added a Yosh. Sounds better. Take a look a devilbikes.com and listen to the devil exhaust in the gallery.....Sweet sounds
