05 gsxr 600

There was a fiasco about the gixxer since I was suppose to get it like 2 weeks ago, but someone had to try to buy it with no money... I was trying to get a 2004 gixxer 600 on ebay, but was outbidded by a friend from college. Well, The guy wanted me to send a check, but I told him no. I wanted to pay him in cash in person. So I took a picture of 2400 bucks and emailed to him showing him that I was serious since he has to drive 3 hours to my house.


Guy came over around 9am this morning, gave him roll of cash and I got the gixxer. Funny thing as it turns out to be an 05 gsxr. Not sure what I'm going to do with the gixxer now. I may turn it into a dedicated stunter, but I'll see what I'm going to do in the near future. Just need to get the RR fixed first. Here's some pics:






I got three bikes now, might have to get rid of one to cover the cost of repairing the other two.

why is it bad you got an 05 when your looking for an 04? nothin much different... i dont get it hahahahah


anyways... whenever you get bored with any one of those bikes, send it on over here... ill ride the hell out of em :)

I didn't say it was a bad thing, just funny cause the guy thought it was a 2004 since it was manufactured in 11/04. But on another forum, someone mentioned that the color scheme was actually an 05 model. 04 and 05 gsxr's are the same.

nope, not stolen. The guy bought it at an auction in Charlotte. I have all the paperwork except for the title as it was lost when the auction house got the bike from repo services. Anyhow, I already checked the VIN number with DMV, carfax and a cop friend. Its not stolen. I believe I can be reissued the title as I have the bill of sale from guy and the bill of sale from the auction house.

i'm guessing you bought the bike for $2500????? i took a pic of all the money i paid the guy with for my bike. I didn't wanna get screwed so i took a pic of all the serials on the bills...-= )

Do all the GSXRs have a stock steering damper?

I know that 04-05 gixxer 600's have stock steering dampers and earlier 1000's have it too.
