I was looking into getting a high mount exhaust for my bike .. I just did a split seat conversion on it so when I order my exhaust do I get the one for 06' or the 01-03 ?

yo i have an 06 f4i and was looking into doing the split seat conversion. but im not sure of what is involved and how much it would cost. do u have any pictures or details pm me.

yes you get it like it was an 01-03 model due to the fact that they mount differently now.

But the 01-03 does not have the o2 sensor like the 06 has ..

I was thinking I need to get the 06 midpipe but the mounting hardware ( canister to peg ) has to be 01-03 .

yea but your 06 has the o2 sensor its not on the tail section. or if you get an o2 bung bolt will do it too

I think you are mistaken .. the 02 sensor is on the midpipe ..
I don't need a o2 bung bolt because I don't have a 01-03 f4i .. I have an 06.

i took my o2 seonsor off today (of my stock pipe) and i actually just ran st8 pipe just to see what it would do and the bike ran no different w/o the 02 connected so maybe you can plug it
