07 600RR Pics Mabye Real??

Ok heres what I have, and for the record if it looks like the red one I might go down to the local dealer to have a look, but if its like the white one.......Sorry but suzuki has the better looking bikes now

According to french magazine MotoRevue, the 2007 CBR 600 RR will be a completely radical MotoGP race replica, and will be aimed at the new R6. It will have a slipper clutch and, may even have some sort of electronic traction control (on a 600?). It seems it may just be a fuel mixture change if ity detects wheel spin, for instance, but impressive it it does have some sort of attempt to bring that type of technology to the common rider. The magazine also states one of the aims will be to reduce the weight down to 190 Kg when fully "wet" (all fuel, liquids, lubricants, etc). Still according to MotoRevue, the engine will be completely new and should top the revs achieved by the current 600 bikes (although the tiny article mentions 19,000 rpm, I doubt it). I do believe it may try to go to the 17,500 (real rpm) just to throw dust on Yamaha's face after the marketing mess of the new R6 announced rpms...

I don't know if any of this is true, but I really like the looks if its going to look like the red one in the pic

Honda’s 2007 CBR600RR will be massively lighter than the current bike as revealed in the June 21 edition of MCN. The bike, which is expected to launch in September gets a completely new engine and styling based on the RCV MotoGP bike. At first glance the white one looks like a scooter. I dont like the new head lights. but we will see.

We will all know what the 2007 will look like in a week!!! The convention is sept 8 and the pics and stats will be posted on honda.com the day after!!

ok only a half an hour left until the the preview i think i will make a new post so everyone can see it.

Just saw the video. The design of the bike looks alot like the R6. Nothing in the preview talked about redline, weight, RWHP, Torque, or any real specs. Comes in pearl white, metalic blue, red/black, and all black. They did say that the handlebars were raised 10mm.

Pics will be available after 11PM PST.

BTW, the seat looks thinner and harder than the current model.

i think its sexy! looks like the 06 1000rr fairings. atleast now all the newbs cant claim to want a liter bike cause the way it looks.

I think it looks great. I want an RC-51 but just seeing that makes me want the 07 600RR as well.

I'm not a huge fan of the front end...

BUT my main complaint is the exhaust!!! Look at how big the muffler is!!!!!! (check out the pic of the underside!!) And what's up with the brake light mounted UNDER the exhaust now?? Can you say "aftermarket nightmare"?

Still looks good though!
