Hi All,
I've been riding bikes of various types for a while now and this may be a stupid question but I have to ask. Do I need to set Free/Rider/Race sag on my rear suspension. I do this with my dirtbikes and the rear of the CBR looks a little high. Anyone have any suggestions or links to suspension setup on sport bikes, specifically late model CBR's? Does the 07 suspension differ enough from the earlier ones to make a difference in these rules of thumb?
Thanks and happy 4th

adjusting sag is the easy part...damping is the hard part...
Front-38mm(street)...34mm(track)
Rear-32mm(street)...26mm(track)

Thanks Gents,
Is this total sag or just rider sag? I know dampening is going to take some seat time but I wanted to get the sag set up first.

http://www.1000rr.net/vb/showthread.php?t=14616 per this how to
38ish front rider sag
25ish rear rider sag
best part is the 07 is sprung heavy enough that you can actually set the sag on these things if you weigh around 190ish
they have a 1.0kg/mm spring tranlating into it will work up to a 230 lb rider on the front and a 11kg/mm spring on the back
