I just bought a 07 CBR 600RR. Im looking at 2 different FE. I was wondering if anyone had any personal experience with either of these two. Which ones better quality, brighter?

I was kinda leaning towards the CBR heaven FE but most of the aftermarket exhausts i see look like they would cover the tail light.

I've heard some pretty bad things about both.  I've got a similar one on my '07 - bought from www.tripageled.com and I've got zero complaints as do tons of other riders.  Go with this one.

230 is kinda out of my price range. Im looking to max out at 150 give or take a few bucks. Im really on a budget. Anyone else heard anything about these?

He's selling 'em for 200 right now - worth every penny.  This was the second FE I put on and I really do like it.

I've got the CBR heaven elim, and i love it. Not an exact fit for the tail, but with a little sanding of the light, it works great. Tag bracket also works great, haven't had a run-in with the law yet--even though it prolly isn't legal.

www.tripageled.com's elim is the exact same light...only difference with trip's is the method he uses to light up the plate (led's in the hugger instead of on the plate mount)

If you want a perfect fit, check out the Hangar taillight. Just on the market recently, and is molded for the '07. Also has selectable flashing modes.

Here's a couple pics of the CBR heaven light on my bike.

that Hangar looks like quality work, I've been eyeing that one for a while - watching it from development until now.  If the Tripage one ever craps out I'm going with the Hangar.

What tools do you need to install CBR heavens FE? Dremmell and simple hand tools?

actually i cut the tray with a razor. Screwdriver to mount it, and whatever your choice of materials to splice the wires.

i have the bikelitez. i have a couple issues with the light but i would recommend it nonetheless.

-my first one got condensation inside and stopped working.
I sent it back to bikelitez and they sent me a new one for nothing. (shipping)
When I got the new one back I put a bead of silicone around the light and it hasn't leaked since (3 or 4 months).
-the visibility is a bit low from far away do to the thin led bar. it is dim in the daytime. It's way better at night though.
-the plate bracket is pretty much worthless; the plate is near invisible from a car (aka cop) because of the rear tire.
I got a swingarm bracket for the plate instead, which i just got a ticket for. the cop told me it would be better
  under the light than sideways
-it gets very dirty from crap kicked up from the tire because it sits under the battery tray, so you have to clean it often

Despite these cons, I think it is a tremendously cleaner look than stock. I get nothing but compliments from other riders about it.
I like it better than the 06' conversion because it looks better to me and it is more visible than being behind the exaust. (if u have an aftermarket exaust with more clearance under the tail, go with the 06' conversion instead)

Hope this is helpful.

I've seen just about all the FE kits for the 07/08 models, and I've been rather disappointed. They look makeshift and cheap in my opinion. Especially with the tags shoved so far underneath the tail.

I've always been a fan of Rizoma products, and recently Hamster ordered one. We installed it a couple nights ago and WOW, it made a HUGE difference in appearance and brightness. This sucker is insanely bright compared to the stock light, and looks damn good. Fit and finish is incredible.

Question...  Did you order that Rizoma FE from their website, or is there another carrier here in the US? I have looked at it several times and am quite fond of it, but the only thing keeping me from getting it is the location.
