Hey all you 07 rr riders. The end of the season is coming close at hand.. And i was just curious as to how many of the newbie 07 rr riders have wrecked their bikes. So post up if youve wiped out.. dont be shy.. I remember all the detracters out there that said if your a newbie and buy the rr you will kill yourself  etc... I'm still alive and not a scratch on the bike... So post up boys lets see how many 07 have hit the salvage lot..

Looking for a little morbid pleasure eh?

I haven't ridden enough yet, but am taking it easy, praying a lot, and signed up to take the msf. In the meantime I'm practicing in parking lots and arround my sub division, where there is not much traffic.

Hopefully I'll gain enough experience before I run out of luck.

Take it easy, and keep the shiny side up.

I know of 3 ive seen go down.  I own one myself.  There was one on Bruce B Downs in New tampa florida, one near us 19 clearwater florida, and another near howard franklin.   Ive also seen 2-3 others all destroyed at bike shops.

These were all white! :-\
I own a white myself...knocking on wood as i type.

1250 miles in 3 weeks - no cuts/scratches to me and not a single mark on the bike!! My first bike - only passed my test 3 weeks ago.

I'm loving it. Every day just gets better - smoother gear changes etc etc etc

...im a brand new rider, and I try to be very safe, cautious, and alert at all times.

You are making putting these bikes down look like going to have a cup of coffee, and quite frankly it is terrifying me. am I going down soon? *gulp*

I'm not a "new" rider... but I guess you could say my 07' 600rr is my first "crotch rocket" bike.  Anyways... I've almost rolled over the 7000 mile marker since I bought it with just under 1. Not too shabby for being gone out on buisness for 2 months worth of time. The only thing I've had happen was trying to walk the bike up a steep incline, with new shoes, on new black-top, in the ain... my feet kicked out from under me and the bike fell on it's side. Oh man I was pissed... first bike I've ever dropped (dirtbikes don't count. ). It put a VERY small scratch in the back sticker, and a few tiny swirl marks on the clutch lever. No bending, and nothing broken. Amazing, since I didn't have my sliders on at the time.
