ok so we heard all this hype about the 08 1krr, bu has anyone bought one yet? im interested on what you guys who've had 07's and older have to say.

My dealer told me that they were expecting their first '08 1000RR in March.

Yeah, I was under the impression that it was Feb/March before dealers would even get one.

I know the 08' 600s are out but I was also told March from the dealer too. Not that I care I still think they are ugly.

I went to a survey group for Honda where we had to answer comparisons vs The '08 CBR and other liter bikes.
Hopefully it out performs the other bikes because it still looks fugly to me.....The 600 is sooo better looking than its big brother.
Sat on it at the bike show and still didn't do anything for me. If I had to buy a new liter bike, I wouldn't buy it....

Saw it today at the bike show. Badass!! LOTS of looks and people interested in it! Feels VERY light compared to a GSXR.

+1... I was impressed with the 08' a lot of people liked it , there were some people that were complaining about the flat upper fairing...other than that it felt light, comfortable, and hopefully powerful after I pick it up in march...

I haven't seen/sat on one, but it looks like the front end, aside from the blunt nose, looks a lot like a Ducati with enlarged headlamps. I really wish they would have made the 1000 a larger version of the 600. The new 600's are well done.

It doesn't matter if I am on an '07 or an '08.....All I care about is that I am on 2 wheels!!! Happy Riding and Happy New Year's!!!
