All right dude -- excellent numbers for a first run. What was your 60' and 1/8 times? The only track near me is a dinky 1/8 mile one in Dallas -- and that's not really near me.

11.2 is my fastest time STOCK... was 11.4 but yes, shaved it a lil..

With my mods, pulled an 11.0 @ 128mph... and a 1.67 60ft. From what i recall, I cant dig through all of my timeslips cause theres alot of car ones too lol...

but thats pretty darn close to true numbers... i know the times are right though, close on the 60 fts. I know that for sure.

Practice, practice, practice .... I went to the 1/8mile track and had a crappy day trying to hook up. Thanks for posting your time slip -- makes me feel better about my 60' times I spun and slid and just had a good ole time. My thing is that I just went for fun -- not gonna change my setup in the tiniest bit just to run 1/8 or 1/4 mile. It's fun but to me twisties are funnerer And your reaction time is good so I know you're lookin at the tree.

Bad R/T and launched too low. a 2.6 60 foot trap speed is really slow. Best way to launch is to have both feet down and to the back a little bit, practice your launch and feeling the clutch engagement point with a two finger pull. Hold your revs and practice slipping the clutch, also, LEAN FORWARD. Slip the clucth as soon as the last yellow hits the tree, by the time you hook up you will have a .0-.5 RT. Your 60 ft time will drop extremely far. You can pull a 2.6 in pretty much any bone stock FWD passenger car with a 4 banger, and fwd is the worst for launching.

Leaning forward will help keep the front wheel down and start your tuck position earlier, just lift both feet smoothly and to the peg for your first-second shift. Don't try to redline or you will slap the limiter. Its better to shift a lil earlier than too late. Also, stretch out and take a deep breath before lining up, just chill out and you do better. I used that against a new R1 and we were even until 3rd

My 60' was over 2 and didn't have nothing to do with launching to low -- Yes Virginia, you can spin the back tire for over a second at the starting line

We have a 2005 BONE STOCK. Lowered 3" and it went a 10.80 at 127mph last Friday at San Antonio Raceway. 1840 60 foot which is still bad. Going to the Texas Shootout this weekend and should get the 60 foot down to a 1600/1650 and it should put it at about a 10.40/10.50 at 128/129 mph. Not bad for a Honda. Them Kawa guys hate it.

your MPH is great....i have made over a hundred runs a year (in a car) both in manual and automatic cars, from low 12s to mid 17s...so ive been around a bit. 121mph is very good, but 12.43 should be more like 108mph...your only issue seems to be off the line. my car pulls a 1.68-1.71 60', and i run 12.60s @ 104-106.5...once you get that 60' time down, your ET will drop by a ton...

Yeah your 60ft time is horrible. When you go just rev that shit to about 11k and slip the shit out of the clutch and lean forward on it. Just take your time and dont worry about the reaction time it doesnt matter unless your in competition.
