i'v got about 2200 miles on my 05 f4i and the breaks are really starting to squeak both the front and the back pretty loud. not always but quite enough to piss me off.
they started doing it very quietly and only once in a while around 900 miles... i dunno wtf but i'm tempted to take it back to the dealer and ask them wtf is wrong since it's under warrenty

dealer will not do anything about them since it is a wearable item just take some 180 grit sand paper and sand the rotors in a circular motion on both sides that should fix your problem.

Rojer:

Hi. Have you ever been in a looooooooooog traffic jam? or driving downhill using too much the brakes. Due to the material the brake pads are made, if they work long periods under hot temperatures, they cristilize. OR if you drove in sandy or dusty areas, dust and sand sticks in the pads. If you add hot temperatures + brake pressure + dust/sand = cristalization.
Instead of wearing the rotors (if you use sand paper, you will probably scratch them), use the same sand paper to wear a thin layer of the pads (surface). CBR brake pads aren´t THAT HARD enough to wear the rotors a lot, so they will adjust to the rotor´s surface.

Another thing is that you shouldn´t touch bare hand the rotors as the human skin is wet and greasy. If you touch it, clean it with a cloth and soft paint solvent.

when yousand down the pads put a bevel on all four sides.this helps to.you can also sand and polish the rotor . starting with 180 grit and working to 1000 grit looks a lot better when you get done, and a lot less noise as the wheels spin.
