Recently I bought an 88 hurricane that turned out to be a POS.  Thus, I decided to get ride of it.  Unfortunatley, now all I think about is riding.  Long story short, this guys is selling his 1991 VFR750F for cheap and my friend is willing to lend me some money.  The bike has 65k on it and I was wondering if that's a lot of mileage for a bike.
Thanks,
Capuchin

It is a fair amount of miles, but it is hard to say how well it was taken care of during its life. Both bikes you have purchased have been relatively aged, so the reliability could be questionable with this "new" bike.

yeah.. its alot.. but bikes can run.. thirdgenlxi is a member with 100k plus on his bike  so its not out of the question, but would you rather spend alittle more and get something with peace of mind?

thanks for the feed back guys.  lol, I tend to act in the heat of the moment.  I think i'm just ganna wait like Tacoma25 suggested.  Plus, I rather stay with in the cbr family.  Though I only had the hurricane for about three weeks, I really enjoyed it.

It's a tough call unless you new the owner or owners on how well maintained it was. This thing could of been to hell and back.

Lol.  Yeah, that's one of the reasons why I decided to wait aswell.
If it wasnt for you guys, I would have had the VFR sitting in my driveway by now.

Dont get me wrong, I also like them (my friend has one).  I just feel more comfortable on a cbr (i'm five five), that is all.

That's my favorite VFR of all time--white wheels, red fairings, single-sided swingarm...mmm, tasty. Plus your average VFR owner is night-and-day different from your average CBR rider (not counting Lonestar...). I would buy it if the price was right and the owner had even a modicum of service documentation. Touring bikes are made to travel with, plus it's a Honda.
