how about beater of the month? not a bling bling hot looking bike that everyone drools over, but one that's most macguyvered out or one that is actually ridden hardcore?
mah bike ain't pretty, but she's all go...so how will she ever win, not that she or i care about winning but there are some trashy bikes on here that deserve honorable mention because the owner made best with what he/she had...
same passion for bikes, just not the bling.

Well for one ... you don't have a gallery with pics of your beater bike so you can't even be nominated for anything. Ya never know -- some peeps think scars are bootyfull. I'd prolly win ugly bike of the month though -- all sanded down and waiting for paint

Actually if you think about it, the guys with all the hardcore stuff on their bikes actually payed alot for it. The clean cut looks are either stock or have everything on it close to stock.
That gives you something to think about now doesnt it
How about my beater. I bought it all stock for 5500 back in 04 and its got about 2-3 grand invested in it.

Thanks, It doesnt get used that much and most of the time when it does its from standing it straight up going about 70mph. I hardly ever drag it. Its basically for safety cause I flipped my old bike waaayyyy to far over the top. I'd like to get into some circles but probably not to much scrapin the bar.

i forgot...the winner will be selected by a panel of judges selected by me...but i won't do any lobbying or anything...
so for all you people with fully functional bikes that just doesn't look so hot...THIS IS FOR YOU!!!
any shine on the bike = negative points...just remember, the bike has to be fully functional and has to be yours!!!
what does the winner get? bragging rights of course! just think...to be the first BEATER OTM winner...no one in the world has ever been crowned in the history of the world's existence in modern day bikes.
