Hey everybody, My name is Dave and I recently purchased my first sport bike. A 2005 cbr600rr with the tribal pattern, and I must say that it is everything that I thought it would be, and more. My last bike was like a 1970 something honda cb500 that I rode nearly 12 years ago. All my friends had sport bikes back then but I didn't have the cheese to get one. I get such a rush from all of the power, and I know that this is a small bike especially for me at 6'0" 250lbs. I swore to myself that I wouldn't go over a hundred ever, but all of you know how that turned out. I was surprised the other night when I hit it and by the time I looked down I saw 151. My girlfriend is going to be getting very lonely. Peace

Haha... welcome to the addiction Dave! It will only get worse with time! The 600RR is a fast and fun bike, I've got an '04 and I love it. Welcome to the boards and ewnjoy your stay.

That is awesome. Welcome to the family. The rush will always be there...but your girl might not. Don't forget her. Take her out for a ride every now and then to let her know what drives you. As long as you are "taking care of home", she'll be there when you come back each day.
