the only way to adjust the foot pegs is to get aftermarket rearsets

you can also get lowering links to drop the bike down but it will screw with the handling

Be VERY cautious about the lowering link... I ran into some problems with the lowering link and If I had a passenger, or if I hit a dip in the road that compressed the suspension, my back tire would rub.  I actually chewed up the stock fender hugger, and a hotbodies undertail kit.... Lower was nice, but not so nice for the undertail

Someone please describe what it's like to drive with rearsets and the advantages/disadvantages of having them.
Thanks!

I bought the aftermarket rear sets from sato.  Although they are quite expensive (450+) they look and perform great.  They also come with the option of chaning your shift linkage to moto gp style (1up and the rest down).   They allow for like 10mm of adjustment for the actual pegs which dosent seem like much but makes a huge difference.  The pegs themselves give 10x better grip to any type of boot or shoe.  They come in gold, black, or chrome.  I love mine
