Hi Guys,
Wanted to hear advice for a more street bias mods rather than full on power for an '06 600RR. What I mean by this is more mid range power and torque, sweeter handling and ride quality rather than full on race. I use the bike for commuting to work but I dont want to be racing at every single traffic light.

you could always change your gearing (sprockets) for more mid range & torque. for handling - have the suspension setup for your weight and riding style.

Was thinking along the lines of mods rather than the gearing, but I know what you mean. people have fitted road legal exhaust, filters and dynojets, I know that these increase HP but just wondering how this effects low speeds.
with the suspension if it worth spending on a nicer set, so that its more adaptable?

Dropping a tooth will definitely give you more torque, and it’s a cheap mod. Your gas mileage should suffer some. A power commander would give you more smoothness, as it would help to reduce on/off throttle abruptness at lower speeds. Just about everyone who has one, especially those who have their bikes dynoed, swear by them. I wouldn’t do anything to the suspension but adjust it properly. I can’t imagine coming close to taxing the bike’s handling limits on the street. Your money is probably better spent on other things than the suspension if you are thinking street bias. Comfort can be achieved by merely disciplining yourself to ride with the proper posture, or you can add heli-bars, a corbin seat and a bigger windscreen for longer range capabilities. The RR is a better street tool than the rags give it credit for, mainly due to it’s aggressive ergs and soft midrange. However, it has excellent lighting, good fuel injection out the box, a decent size gas tank, smooth engine and better instrumentation than most (i.e. a real fuel gauge and clock). The center exhaust kills underseat storage, but makes mounting saddlebags (when necessary) a snap. The low center of gravity inspires a lot of confidence on the street, especially when riding conditions are windy. I bought the RR for my wife, but after riding it a few times, sold my Bandit 1200 to my neighbor.

Sorry havent been here for a while. had my Bike stolen. been back on the road now for 2 months. And now its getting cold. Thanks for the advice guys. getting it dynoed next spring. I think I wont adjust the gearing, just so that I can keep the tank range. i can get roughly 150miles with the way I ride from my RR.

I have to say this.
Never ever over look suspension. You can certainly learn to tune what you have and I know this might not fully apply to street, but here is what I learned.
My uncle had a factory dirt bike with a $5000 suspension. The other bike we were swapping back and forth with was very customized.The main thing was it had the best tires you could get and it couldn't handle as well the bike with the factory tires that suck. The reason for this is, it doesn't matter what tires you have if they are not always on the ground. Just a learned thought.

You should be able to get them from your Honda dealer, I am from the UK and I got mine from them.
