Ive been lookin at gettin a full exhaust for my bike.not goin with a slip on because its an expensive upgrade just to lose horsepower. im going with a full exhaust but don't know what the best is. i've looked around and saw that akropovic had a full on system and so did yoshi.akro was really expensive...about 1200 dollars.yoshi was 800. but they say you get what you pay for!whos the best?

if power is what you're after, Arata is what you want.

Don't forget that you'll need the PC3 when going with the full system. $$

not tre akro makes there stuff so that a pc3 is not needed.

i have full akro on my 04, it is awsome. would not want anything else.

Hands down, LeoVince "Corsa" Ti full system.  It'll make more power than any other full system.  but it $2000.00 +

i dunno man. i could be wrong, but i gained 3 hp and lost 5 lbs for 530 buck. your going to gain 6 hp and lose 10 lbs for 1300 bucks. the akro slip on is 600 bucks and the full system is 1100-1700 depending on the which one. so if you get the 1100 dollar system your getting the same bang for the buck if you went with just the slip on. if you go with the 1700 dollar system your getting screwed.

I did the Akra slip-on - no loss there on my '07.  I'm gonna say you're friend might have done something incorrectly with the installation, i.e. gasket replacement.

thats true.i just figure if i'm gonna spend alot of money on justa slip on, might as well just save a little more and get a full system. will the sound of a full exhaust be alot louder and different than that of  a slip on? havn't heard a full exhaust on a 600rr yet, just slip ons.

ive heard alot of full systems that are a little louder. then ive heard full race systems that are rediculously loud. it just depends on the system.  and for the most part the full systems have a more raspy sound.

no problem.  i think its in the mission statement of akro that all there products need no tuning blh blah blah...  wait, here it is;
 "are designed to function properly using the stock carburetor or electronic fuel injection set-ups. This means that no changes to the stock set-ups are necessary in order to use Akrapovic exhaust systems. Also, all of the performance specifications which we measure and list for each exhaust system model are based on stock set-ups. We assume full responsibility for the accuracy of these specifications. However, we also believe that it is possible to improve the original set-ups when our exhaust systems are used."

My 2007 came with a Arrow Carby exhaust installed.  Wicked Sound & look for my bike.
I just wish I could post some pictures.  I've tried with no avail.  Shoot me a e-mail & I'll send some pics.

I got two bros slip-on on my 07 600rr for 380.00 and I can tell the big difference on power. like txcb07 said , maybe his gasket is not installed correctly or probably a leak on seal. tell your homie to re-apply high temp sealent see if that makes a difference. and it sounds really good too. not too loud but enough to heard from far...

Akropovic full exhaust is $950 for the titanium. $1300 for their most expensive full exhaust.
