so my toy is in, but none of the motorcycle mounts are really sportbike friendly, any combination of one or more of them had some issue why it wouldnt work ( and i thought of quite a few ideas ) so i did what most people would do, i cried. after crying, i made myself a mount. its a piece of trash until i can make something better, but its made out of a copper plumbing pipe that i split and flattened into a sheet, haha copper, geez!. its all ground down so it didnt scratch or touch plastics, or damage anything though. but itll do until i can make one out of steel, or buy something nice and purty.

alright thanks! i'll definetely look into them. i know i could get the gps mounted on them, right now the only issue is position. the way that its mounted in the pics, when im riding i have to look almost straight down to see the screen, i have to have it back about 4 inches towards the windscreen from where it is to be able to see it easily. but thanks again^_^

nah, its a gps navigation system^_^ but the mount is what im paying the most attention to so i can get it in just the right position to where i can glance at it moving only my eyes, like the instrument cluster, where it was with the one i made, i basically had to turn my head straight down, so no good :-p

I take it you do alot of off the beaten path type riding?? or is that somthing so you can find short cut's??, usually I don't do a whole lot of riding in unfamiliar territory

i love to explore the backroads, and take long trips to out of the way places and just enjoy the scenery, and i especially love being away from other people in their 3k lbs battering rams. and when i get my ass lost, now i'll be able to get back home with the push of a button.
