Blackwidow_600 was on the way over to the garage where i have our bikes stored to help me work on the 900 ( im calling it operation:restore and Un-Ghettosize and he got caught in a freak downpour that lasted maybe 10 min but enough to cause the oil spots to come to the top of the road.  from what i understand he was coming to a stop at a 4 way and hit a oil slick and almost saved it then went down, he was wearing gear and made it out just fine, bike is fine for the most part, busted off a return line from his waterpump but we have jbweld drying on it overnight till he can get a new cover ordered, but it will still let him ride till he gets a new one.   Also needs to order a new frame slider but it saved the bike from being much worse off.   while we were at the house working on it we were also cleaning out the garage and realized that there were 3 cbrs sitting side by side and ironically all broken down to varying degrees, and funny enough in line from oldest to newest and from least worst off to worst off.i promise it was by accident, we didnt mean to line them up in that order. LOL

thanks man,  i sure hope it does looks kinda like the radiator got pushed into the manifold a little and i cant tell if i have an oil leak now or if oil just rushed out the pcv valve filter when the bike went sideways.. and those two water bottles by the side of my bike are filled with my antifreeze which looks like it has quite a bit of oil in it... we will see tomorrow when we put her back together ..  im just really glad i didnt bend my forks and it was a pretty well controlled crash

even if they are in various states of disrepair??? we spent most of the afternoon discussing why we should go ahead and open up a repair shop... figured we could be our own best customers.

riding a sport bike with a wet crotch is prolly the most uncomfortable thing i have experienced next to having a prostate exam
