can you adjust the timming or somthing a little to make you bike pop when you quickly release the throttle??

i think backfire is a sweet sound...while going throw gears and down shifting..

Backfire would be a bad thing to have and people pay good money to stop it, not cause it.

yeah you don't really ever want "backfire"... and what you're describing isn't a backfire, it's excess fuel getting burned off in the exhaust system when the throttle cuts down... thats what makes it pop...
to answer the question... no people don't tune there bike just to get this... if you're really gung ho get an aftermarket set of headers that don't have cats in them. that'll let the fuel in the air stream flow farther back to the can and probably shoot some flames out the back... only if you're riding real hard though... but at any rate, advancing or retarding timing on these backs usually leads to valve slap, which will give you things much worse than back fire.

yeah about the backfire... thats what i ment about afftermarket header...you should never **** with the timing.
