Took a look at an '07 600rr White/silver. It was super clean with 3500 miles on it and the only mod were led tails. The only bad thing about it was he tried to remove the silver on the tank and didn't realize (read: drunk) that it had clear coat on it and ended up chipping about an inch of the silver off. nothing too bad. runs really good and oil changes done on time/early. He's the original owner and picked it up for $9800.00 after taxes. My buddy managed to pick it up for $6600.00. I was pretty shocked in the condition and how clean it was. Also for the price. I'm a super noob so I don't really know if this was a good deal or not. Also one quick question, where's the best place to buy fairings for 05-06 600rr's? thanks in advance.

I just bought the same bike (2007 pearl white/silver cbr600rr) with 961 miles for $4,200. Dealer sticker was 11,000 (Leo Vance slip on, Flush blinkers, rear under tail eliminator, frame sliders) Owner low sided it and ruined the fairings, scratched up the stator cover, busted up the clip-ons/levers. I just bought a set of perfect fairings on ebay for 1,025 and am looking at about 500-600 more to get it mostly perfect
So I would look on ebay if I were you. religously... morning and night and look for buy it nows. good luck.
btw...I have a cover with a tiny nick in it that your friend might want instead of fixing what he has. Have him PM and I'll send him pics

Thanks I'll deffinitely let him know about that.... I'm looking for an 05-06 600rr and was wondering if there is a huge difference between the feel of the 07's due to the electronic steering damper...

I've just riden mine once and it was drizzling also the right clip-on was loose so I wouldn't be a good person to answer your question.
