Okay so I know this may seem like a noob question but hey I'm kinda new to the motorcycle scene. When I get around to purchasing my first 600RR I wanted a lil more sound and hopefully performance because my friend has the '05 600RR tribal edition and well it sounds puny lol so what's the best or most common exhaust/muffler installed on to the 600RR?

I just put a Jardine exhaust on.....by myself... =o) took some time thats for sure! Decided to modify the stock blinkers and get rid of the rear fender/plate holder.. The Jardine SOUNDS SOOO SWEET! But I think all in all what ever matches your pocket book will be the best one... =o) Good luck and ride safe!

I love my Two Brothers. Kinda depends on what you are looking for... as far as exhaust note goes.

i just installed an akrapovic and i love it. the sound is good and its not too much, just right. with the fender eliminator it looks sweet on my 600. if you search the topic you can find where one of the guys post a site that you can download all the sounds of the different brands. after awhile they all sound alike, but it can give you a taste of the differences.

I have a Two Brothers, which is not the best looking pipe, but I think is the best sounding. I love the sound, but my riding buddies HATE it because it's so loud! I usually try to stay in the back of the pack and hand out ear plugs for those who complain.
As a new rider, why not focus on learning how to ride your new machine rather than power gains, because the best performance gain will be learning how to be safe and smooth on your new bike. Don't be one of those riders who gets this machine that can potentially kill or seriously injure you if you give it the wrong input and focus wanting more power all the time...honestly, the bike has plenty of power!

i have to agree with the great sound of the two brothers, but i kinda think it looks like a exhaust for dirt.

I have a CF Micron and like it a lot I would have bought the Two Brothers if I knew I could have got the one they show pictured for the CBR1000RR for my 600. Check out this link to their web site. It not only shows what the exhaust looks like but also a P1 Power Tip and the Q1 Quiet Core Insert of you want to quiet the sound. You can even call 2Bro's and have them replace the red band with a black one if you don't like the red.
Two Brothers I also like the rotors in the red 600RR doncollins posted. The exhaust looks real trick too but I'm not sure of the weight savings the other single CF or Titanium exhausts provide.

what's with the stick poking and finger pointing steve & fret... you know, with friends like you guys... I'll stick to talking to my wife. Never mind.. she doesn't like me either. I am the most anti bling person I know. I hate chrome shinny useless junk. I like the twin pipes and would only buy a brushed look or a stainless steel look. Hell, I'm 32, I'm too old to know what bling is.

I don't know much about this exhaust... I have only found one supplier in New York for it. It looks like the exhaust on the MV Agusta and I thought it was something different.
The supplier I found is at
http://www.fosterrad.com/Store.html you can contact him for more info. Seems like a nice guy and will answer questions in a day or two. The website is not up to speed on things... you can't really view anything or check anything out. When I asked him about his site, he said it was recently hacked and they are working on it, translation, call instead of using a credit card through his site. If you email him for more info, post it up. I asked a few question already and didn't want to bother him until I was ready to commit to buy.

i email about the price of the lazer x-treme exhaust and here is what they wrote
My name is Brad. I own a shop in PA. Robert from Foster RAD refered you to me because I offer the best prices around on the Laser Systems. The system for the 600RR retails for $625. I sell them for $550 plus the actual shipping. I would need to know the year of your bike as well, to make sure you get the correct system. The shipping to your zip code would be around $30.
what do you guys think of the price i think it is a little high but i have not research ehaust system
hope this helps

well... they're consistent. That's the same info I received and pricing. I think it's expensive, unless it offers significant performance boost. I've found a guy on a different forum with the exhaust on his bike (noticed it in his picture threads). I sent him a PM asking for a review yesterday. When/if he replies, I'll post it up here for you to look at. The one catch is.... I believe the guy is from Jersey, the same area Robert is from, so we may be fishing for info from the same source.
