He's not ready. Your point is made. You did not really want a relationship if he can't decide between the two. My lady accepts my riding b/c she is ok with my decisions... no matter the potential danger. She knows I want to come home safe and supports me even though she doesn't even get on a bike.... ever.

i supported him as long as he came home everynight it didnt matter problem was when his buddy got one he stopped everything with me in one night of them going out he stopped talking to me and everything i just needed a lil attention before he left if he wouldve did that he could go WHEREVER HE WANTS WOMEN RELATE TO MEN THE WAY MEN RELATE TO THEIR BIKES WE ALL WANT SOMETHING WE CAN PLAY WITH

Asking a guy to choose between a woman and something else is the stupiest thing you can ask a guy.   If he chooses you, then he'll never be happy and have "fake" happieness around you.  If he doesnt choose you then he's sad he lost ya but, ya he's gonna get over it.

Guys dont ask women to choose between them or their $100,000 spending sprees every year.

You're gonna be stubborn for the guy not doing what you say and he's gonna be stubborn for you asking this.

Not being mean but a guy doesnt want to be around his g/f or wife a lot.  We just dont.    Its kinda like the friend that wont leave your house but you dont want to tell them to leave.  I've seen more relationships last longer by only being around your partner for just a few hours a day.

Its just messed up to ask something like that.    His friend could have grown up with him his whole life and you're asking him to brush him off.

Sorry but if I'm ever asked to choose between woman or friends.    I'm gonna go with my friends everytime.   They're the ones that have been there my whole life.

you say he left your after his friend got a bike.    How long exactly did they keep going out to ride?    He was probably super excited his friend got a bike and now has a riding buddy.   A with a new toy or knows someone with a new toy is gonna give a lady less attention.

When I got a new toy for my bike and was going insane cuase I didnt get to fart around with it till 3 days later.

i know i shouldnt be in this lounge - just like all you other guys *cough cough* but i'm gonna have to support ranger on this. if you want a man's opinion - we love what we do. it doesnt mean we cant have two loves in our life, do you have two best friends? or two favorite places to shop at? (im just gerenally saying).

in a relationship, both spouses should make sacrifices. Also a relationship should make your world expand their horizions, explore eachother's loves in life.. (ex. I myself am now into country music.. i hated country - but having 3 girlfriends that were into it, i've learned to like it.. i dont love it but i can tolerant it) so asking a man to pick bike over a woman is like a guy asking a woman shopping over men. once again, generally speaking - not all women are like that and not all men are like that.

Well you got to talk to him about that. got to remember, guys are dumb (i know i am) - you can tell us 100 times and we still wont listen. So sit him down and tell him you want to ride with him (if you have your own bike or being on his).. he shouldn't have a problem with his friends being your friends unless he is doing something dishonest. I haven't seen a group of guys yet distrimate about a woman riding with us. So i hope you guys work it out, if he doesnt want to - well there are tons of other biker boys in the world..

ranger your single right?

ok i'll let you ladies have your forum back

I shouldn't be in here either (it feels like I broke into the girls locker room all over again. )

When it comes to riding, I wouldn't want my girlfriend riding with me in a group too (and she understands that). It's not that we are ashamed of you, it's the fact that we are constantly worrying about your safety when riding. We're constantly looking in the mirror to make sure you are still there, and it makes the ride very unpleasant having to constantly check up on their loved ones.......and it's exhausting. We ride to escape stress, and looking after someone while riding just creates more of it. (for me anyway.)

Plus, "riding with the boys" is simply that, a guys night out to ride around. Guys need their space, just as women do. And it's not the fact that we "don't treat you right", but we just need our space like everyone else.

Now (since I have already been caught in the women's locker room), I would like to say this. I really don't mean to offend women out there, but why don't women have their own group of friends they hang around with on a regular basis? It seems like all my friends' girlfriends (mine included) don't do anything except obsess over their boyfriends being home, and demand they "stay in" with them all night, every-night. And if one of my friends (or me) wants to go and hang out with the guys, it's always a "No.", or they let us go, but give us a gilt trip before hand..........or the worst, letting us go, but calling every 30 minutes, bugging us to come home early. (that one I can't stand )

i guess 118367s is the guy? well hot mammi posted it up (even tho it's in the ladies forum, my eyes went wandering) and tried to give the best judgement opinion i could of a guy's view, same with bluefox - no harm intended..

we dont know the whole relationship life of you two, but just trying to give some resolution to the problem. I do hope you two can at least talk it over like reasonable adults.

all i can say myself tho is sometimes you got to take the bullet 118367 and have her ride with you, she loves your passion to and wants to be evolved in your life.
and hot mammi, a guy does need his space from time to time - i can understand how 118367 might feel with riding. But i'm just a netural, commuciation is the key to having things work out.

also, please.. please change your name 118367 haha

Started reading this post and I now feel like projectile vomiting. Bringing up this type of  personal tripe on this motorcycle website is kind of wierd and it's starting to make the bile rise in my throat.

Now Please!! Bring me a bucket!!
