It's a 93 crb 600 f2, I know that it give's and takes from the backup tank but it fills up and never goes back down. How hard is it to get to the thermastat? Thanks Dave

its under the tank, not that hard to get too.follow the main radiator hose on the right side of the bike and its under that inlet same as on a car.

If the reservoir fills up and never goes back into the radiator, then I suspect the radiator cap is to blame. The thermostat controls when hot water from the engine goes to the radiator to get cooled. The cap is usually what determines when water moves to the reservoir as it is pressure dependent. I'd replace the cap. It should be cheap and could solve that problem.
