BIKE HIT AND NEED TO KNOW WHAT TO DO?????

I purchased a f3 about two months ago...it was in pretty ruff shape and I have been working on it since then. Sanded all the plastic primed it and gave it a pretty good tune up. I parked it in my lot at the back end of one of two parking spaces for me and two of my roomates. I left for a week and when I got home I found that my roomate ran into my bike and it fell down a hill at the back of the parking space. So what i'm asking is what do I do...I want to claim it on her isurance...what do I tell them in terms of repairs that need to be done...the plastic is cracked but I'm not sure about internal damage dont want to dig into it until i figure through the insurance claim. Should I take it to a shop first....anybody go through a similar situation. IF SO WHAT DO I DO...I DO WANT TO GET MY BIKE BACK TO THE ORGINAL COND.....BUT WANT TO MAKE SURE I GO ABOUT IT THE CORECT WAY. THANKS!!!!

does it run? can you still ride it? are the forks, frame,swingarm, rims damaged?
if it's all cosmetic then it can be fixed. i will just take some time and money.
i had an f2 that was in pretty bad shape and i hooked it up clean. pix soon to come.
