bike wont fire* OMG I FIXED IT IM A RETARD

I here the fuel pump prime
engines turning over when i push start button
gas smell and air flow out of tail pipe

it doesnt go bang
theres fuel in it
replaced spark plugs

the previous night i started it for about one minute when someone put there hand over the tail pipe and tried to kill it I stoped them and cut if off shortly there after so i thought i fowled the spark plugs.... but nope

any ideas

Check the fuses under the seat and the left fairing, try that and see if that helps otherwise my buddy puts his hand over the exhaust when we are at a stop and will kill it everytime and you have to crank it over a few times to get it to crank.

well it's flooding if you can smell gas out the tail pipe... so the injectors are firing and there is no spark. pull a couple of the plugs out and arc them to block to see if they are actually sparking, or just pull one of the wires and do the same... if they are, you've got a diff problem, but I'm betting there is no spark.

not there is a spark i checked that already

alright i got all the plastics off that was a biatch but im going to try spraying starter fluid straight into the intakes

hey when i try and start the bike should i be able to feel/ see fluid come out of the injectors in the air box?

ok I sprayed a cloud in and still nothing im going to RECHECK the plugs and then go cry

ok rechecked all the plugs they are new but sparking week so i loaded up ALL the cylinders straight through the plug holes with stater fluid and it finally started for about 3 seconds before diein again so i am thinking fuel blockage or something cause im not getting an FI light or any blinks at from the MIL at start up but what do yall think I truely am puzzled.....

FI issue is possible for sure.

Also some sort of computer deal??? Wonder if it's not allowing fuel to come through???

ok has yeah problem still isnt solved and i just left town for 10 days im actually in New mexico at the moment ....yeah theres no helmet laws here ive already seen like 10 guys with out helmets......idiots.....but i read the whole maintance manuel on the flight today and i have a thought.... the system should be throwing a code at me if something is wrong, unless the whole brain of the bike is shot....but again that doesnt make sense.....so heres what im thinking that my battery is three years old and theres not enough juice to run fuel pump to pressure and fire all the plugs.....i had it drain completely down once this winter at night but never had any problems since then....i put it on the charger while doing all this and it charges and drains real fast so Im thinking maybe its just shot?????.......if thats it i will be uberexcited and i have learned how to take the whole dang bike apart.....what do yall think

i just didnt think about the battery being the problem because last time it died it did the click click click thing but not this time

remove the fule line close to the throttle body see if the pump is pumping gas. if it is maybee gas is bad. about the battery I have and old bike that wouldn't run unless I had a car jumping it and the when i removed the cables it died the battery didn't have the juice to run it. I would use a charger to charge the bat and leave it connected when u try to start it that will answer that question. drain the gas tank and get all new gas. this is a long shot but mabe the battery being weak or run down did somthing to the brain. had a chevy lumina that got all messed up when the bat died had to unplug all the wires and re plug them to get it to run not sure why but that worked. ask the dealer if the brain can tell the plugs to fire at the wrong time or somthing. if it was an old car I might be some help but this new computer crap is kind of a pain.

yeah what i was thinking is maybe it isnt pumping fuel cause im not getting enough juice from the battery to do run everything but I have yet to get the normal click click click when the bat goes dead....i have been useing a charger for it but maybe its so bad its not holding a good charge

btw theres two honda diganositc tools one thats a hand held device that displays information the other is a "special tool" that just shorts two nodes in the red plug in under the seat and gives you the same information on the tach and MIL light up front but what im wondering is if anyone KNOWS which two of the pick up in the red plug that the "special tool" shorts because all that special tool looks like to me is a wire

Are you starting it with the charger on it or off of it I'd try both and see what happens from there send me an email with all the symptoms and what you have tried. send it to aaronrust1973@yahoo.com and I will take it to my mechanic and see what he says he might be of some help I can ask him monday. I'll send you his number as well he gives out free info to me and friends.

I just didnt think about it being that cause the last time it was the battery it made the click click click noise and this time it turned over just fine so now i have a naked bike in pieces that i have to put back togehter ....but while its in peices im going to do some mods to it
