Well besides the fact that my bike is too pretty to chance messing up by doing a wheelie I got a chrome windscreen that I can see through now and I did a small sitdown today and was like... damn.. i can't see lol..
sorry just venting my frustration because im not doing stand up's down the street and this bike wont see the highway much anymore *grumbles* anyong got a 05-06 1000RR for sale yet? 8) I need toy #2 soon.

This has nothing to do with wheelies but kind of with your post. I see you have a sportech windscreen I have the same one and it doesn't fit well. At the bottom there is about a 1/8 - 1/4 inch gab from the plastic to the windscreen. Also, you know how on our stock windscreens they drilled so there is like a notch for the grommet to sink into and the sportech doesn't have that so everywhere there is one of those bolts to hold it on there is about 1/16 - 1/8 inch gap there. Do you have that problem as well? Up close it looks like total CRAP! The guy told me at the dealership that just the risk you take when you get aftermarket parts.

whoever that guy is working at the shop is an idiot. aftermarket parts are supposed to be a better than oem, if not its the wrong part.

mine fit fine out of the box, look at the ROTM picture up close of my windscreen it is flush. maybe yours got warped?
