After pacemakers thread about embarrassing actions, while under the influence are concerning the use of alcohol. This came to mind.

This is not a widespread game with in the Marine Corps and is not something that is condone. It began in one squadbay and spread to a few others before strict enforcement of the non-hazing code was enforced, but it is still played and variations of it exist still. It is possible to suffer long-term eye damage and nasal cavity damage, or possibly alcohol poisoning from participation. off post at a party house 100% of the time

The first thing that happens to someone playing is you must shotgun a turbodog received a squirt of lemon juice directly in the eye of your choice. Following that, you must snort a line of salt up your nostril on the same side as the eye you had chosen. Directly behind that you must kill a double shot of golden grain as soon as you finish that you must read the lowest line possible on the eye chart with the eye that received the lemon juice in it. All of this must be completed in no more than 90 seconds.

Will not say who came up with the game, but think about this. Who needs the best eyesight. Under the most adverse conditions, and you'll have your answer.

It wasn't me.  It was started in a STA/SSP platoon.  I just mentioned it because of pacemaker thread and didn't want to be accused of trying to jack his thread and was wondering if anybody else had ever heard of it or played

We had a variation of that, it was just a shot though---called it a "tequila stuntman". Snort the salt, shoot the tequila, and squirt the lemon in your eye. Never did really understand why we did......but we did! lol
