This might seem kinda pointless, and it may be, but what is the difference between a bolt socket and bolt flange. I've been trying to find a replacement for the bottom horizontal bolt on my front fork which is an 8x45 mm bolt. I've found it at a few places and it's gonna cost (2.95+6.95) which is just bout 10 bucks for one tiny little bolt. I notice f4's have the same exact bolt on their bikes which also happens to be a 8x45mm bolt. I can't really tell from the schematics of a front fork of an f4, but it looks like the only difference is the type of head they have. The RR use's an allen wrench, where as the f4 seems to use a more tradiitional bolt head (not exactly, but it can be tightened by a socket.) Bottom line is why would honda bother making two different styles of the same bolt, for the same size, and the same purpose! Just to charge us more!? It just sucks that everytime I have to by anything OEM for Honda I feel like I just got taking advantage of. I bought a Honda, not a Harley damn it!
