That's just too weird. Guess since he wasn't on school property they sorta messed up, eh? Wonder what sort of damages he's gonna sue for? "I didn't get on tv and it ruined my life -- I need $50,0000,000 for self-esteem issues"

sorry chain, but i believe that you are wrong. the kid should have to pay the school corporation. they gave him a 2 week vacation from school and he got more publicity from the court cases than he ever would have if the school corporation left the pot smoker alone with his tasteless sign.

You must have misunderstood -- I don't think he should get anything (except maybe a boot to his rear end). The whole appeal deal was to open the way to sue the school. I just wonder what HE thinks his damages are. Sorry for the confusion
