ok mang, i was hoping you wouldn't take it wrong but you didn't!

yea it may not sag much or at all when you lift the bike and let the swinger hang but it will unload more if you're in a bouncy type deal. probably not by much though. that's why i said push on the rear seat so the suspension compresses and go apes#it doing it and see if it clears on rebound.

I took your opinions and I think I've got a sick set up now. More clearance, quieter etc. Take a look. I've worked on the backpressure a little and I still might need to do more tuning. But right now its runs good and sounds sick! At idle its a little raspy but while riding it screams with a loud smooth tone. Sounds like a race bike. Anyway, take a look at the pics. I had all my neighbors coming out of their offices to listen to me do some fly bys on a small street here. I'm still working on a way to secure it a little with some kind of hanger.
 

That looks outstanding!! And that first sound clip sounded great! and for crappy computer speakers...i'll bet its even better to the real ear!! cant wait to see/hear the finished product!

Greetings.  New to the site.  Stupid question.  For the Mini GP Style CF Pipe, did you ever mock up using your other Shorty can on the Mini GP Style Pipe?  I assume it would help with  the exhaust volume but didn't know if it "worked," physically?  Your doing a great job with all the work you are doing on the exhaust.  Thanks.

you continue to impress bootleg.... one thought though, have you done a lean test... like lean it to the ground? to check on road clearance?  will that hit before the peg is my main concern.  Can't wait to hear a fly by of the new and improved GP.  still need a christmas present from the girl friend

will this fit using the 01-03 fairings? or will it hit the fairing?

Sorry for the delay! I was sick the past few days plus I was making some strides in the development of this pipe. Well we are trying a few tips in the quest for more backpressure. Take a look. This definately makes the pipe sound better. Its the deepest sounding pipe I've made. Sounds awesome while riding. Idle is still a little raspy. I just took it for a spin and its still got a flat spot at mid RPM's. I'm going to try a smaller diameter baffle next. So far its running better and sounding better. I just gotta get it to make the bike run better with it. So close guys. I'll keep you posted.

huh... thats definately different, I meen i sitll love the pipe, and im not going to let an "original" tip get in the way.  i'm not gonna lie, i look at this forum several times a day, EVERY day waiting for news on this exhaust. I CAN'T WAIT!!

Alright bro... Seriously... I want all of the ones you have posted in the past week or so. This is the sickest one. If you could get the "cannon" cap for this one, it would be even better. Keep up the good work. I'm going to keep checking this site and your site daily for more updates!

I too vote for the cannon cap, but i know the backpressure will be an issue.  and chance we could get a preemptive sound clip???

Yeah. The Cannon tip would be Sick! I'll put it on there to see what it would look like and take a few pics for you guys tomorrow. But it would be a backpressure nightmare. You never know. We might be able to get around this issue without having to resort to a more restrictive tip. I'm working hard on it.

bootleg, if you need any testers to see if it will fit on 01-03 fairings, i think youve got a few candidates here......

in the meen time, can we get a picture of the WHOLE bike with the exhaust on? not just a close up of the exhaust.  Just want to get a feel for how it works with the flow of the bike
