Quick question... What is the difference between the brake settings on a 06 rr. I think mine set as a 4, never changed it when i bought it?

It's a setting that is designed for racing. If you're breaking hard into the corners, the breaks will start to fade a little and this gives you the means to get more leverage. For most of us, it's a comfort thing.
