DO:

Vary the RPMs and try to give each gear equal engagement time

DO NOT:

Change the oil before the 600mi service
Red-line the engine
Wheelie

Why do you suggest not changing the oil before the 600 mile service period?

dont get rpms above 9,000

2 reasons. Firstly, Honda knows a hell of a lot more about that engine and the proper way to brake it in than you. secondly, that oil might be normal GN4 to you, but when honda put that engine together, they coat every piece in an assembly lubricant or otherwise and that falls into the oil pan and dissolves durring use. The oil that was GN4 is now something that is most benifical to the engine. it's doing wonderful things inside the engine so don't drain it out until it's ready.
