So my question is how do you guys/gals clean the bug guts off your helmets....I use invisible glass for the shield; that works fine.

However I just can't get the little buggers (pun intended) out of the vents and crevices...I thought of useing a tooth brush but that seems as if the bristles would be rather hard on the finish.

I usually use a microfiber towel, and a toothpick to get in the crevices.

Lemon Pledge. Let it penetrate their little carcasses for a second then gently use a new soft-bristled toothbrush. Yet another reason to buy the best helmet you can afford, the clear coat won't be hurt by it.

Wtet, Hot, Hot rag and let it sit on there for a while, then use your chemical of choice.

Soap and water, alcohol on a Q-tip for the small areas.

I put Rain-X all over my helmet, and the bugs usually slide right off. For the ones that get stuck in the vents............that PC can-o-air stuff works great to blast them out.
