i just bought a 2003 cbr 600rr when i started it and let it idle i smelled burning rubber, does anyone have any insight??

is the smell coming off of the motor or exhaust when it heats up? Or is it coming out of the exhaust.
Someone could of done some burnouts got some rubebr on the exhaust or back of motor. Let it burn off and it will be alright.

more than likely or rubber on the midpipe from a shoe maybe
