The Pilot Powers are so sticky, that you can not slide your finger across the surface of the tire.  If your getting new tires, get Pilot Powers, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!

2600 miles... new tires?  did the dealer give you used tires or something because I have at least 75% tread left on my tires and its only been 2500 miles.  If you are doing burnouts, you should just get crappy tires

Right on!! I agree with you completely. I still believe the Pilot Powers are overkill for the street unles you're HAAAARD on the throttle and the bike. Either way, they wouldn't dissapoint! Good luck Papi.

I was just recently in the market for new tires and from my previous post I think you all gathered that I got the Continental Sport Attacks.  I have been through several different tires such as...
 
Bridgestone Battlax
Dunlop D208
Pirelli Diablo Stradas
Macadams
Continental Road Attacks
 
Of all these I liked the road attacks best and since I needed to replace the D208's on my RR i decided to step up to the plate with the new sport attacks.  I was really tempted my the Michelin PP and the Dunlop Qualifiers but I have never had a good experience with Dunlop so I decided against them.  It came down to the PP and the Sport Attacks and in the end you go with what you know.  The sport attacks are amazing, just read some of the reviews!  Great turn in speed, sticky as all hell, and super fast warm up.   Have not had them in rain yet but my old road attacks never even gave me a hesitation about the wet. I swear by them and will continue to be happy with them, the only thing wrong with a forum is that people get locked into one thing and certain new products never get a chance to prove themselves so I like to do independent studies and such to find out other possibilities.  I dont think anyone on here has really suggested a bad tire (with exception of the Dunlop guys lol) so I just feel that doing your own research and deciding on your own is clutch..... just my .02

I have dunlop qualifiers and love them.  I have had other tires in the past and the dunlop qualifiers are the best and sickiest.

they break loose a lot quicker in a turn than my power 2ct's though.  like they said though, if you are not riding hard, a hard tire may be right for you

Hey anyone remember what tires comes with the stock 03 600rr?  Are they michelin?

Dumlops, I'm pretty sure, come on the bike from the stealership.

i had a track day and about 4k miles of commute and canyons on the corsa 3's, theystill have 1 or 2 k left on it....  they were amazing tires, i highly recomend them.

My 04 came with Dunlop D208's... I hate Dunlop

I went with Dunlop qualifiers

thats very odd,  do they come with michelin power pilot by any chance?  The guy I bought it from said he never changed the tires and he was the original owner.
