caliper bolts

I replaced pads all the way around. Do you guys use loctite on the bolts when u put them back in. The bolts that mount calipers appeared to have loctite on them before.

when i replaced my lines and pads i just reinstalled them using the shop manual i have. it didnt say anything about loctite on the caliper bolts. ive been riding about a season without messing with them and i have not noticed anything wrong without loctite.

The manual says to use this specific Honda bolt that has the locking goop on it.  I used loctite (blue) instead and no problems.  At the very least it wouldn't hurt to use some.  Torque them down right on top of that as well.

loctite is always a good idea on a motorcycle. 

Don't want that bike vibrating apart now lol

I loctite everything just to be sure.  I went for a long ride up the mountains and when I got off the highway after cruising for about 3 hours I let out the clutch lever and it came completely out because the bolt vibrated out somewhere on the highway but i was in 6th gear for a couple hours and didnt notice.

Same thing happened to me with my clutch, although I hadn't been in 6th gear for a while like you mentioned on your situation.  It was probably just negligence on my part for not checking periodically.  Either way the bolt about popped out on me.

The F4i I bought must have the same problem with the clutch lever lol, they guy put another bolt in there but it was NO WHERE NEAR the correct one.
