Im bringing my bike in to see if this small noise im hearing is just me or the CCT that needs replacing but i was wondering if this is something that is safe to ride with for another month and fix in the new season? i dont want to cause any damage to the bike. It sounds like a vibration from the engine and doesnt always sound loud it may even be just the way the bikes sounds.
bike is a 2002 crb F4i with 21K on it.
Thank you,

there is only slight chance that it could make the engine jump timing

I had my CCT replaced back in july sometime. I had the manual APE tensior put on. When it was installed the jam nut on it wasn't tightened properly and after about 1000km it backed off enough for the cam chain to jump a tooth and throw off my timing. I'm guesing you have an OEM CCT installed and therefore don't run the risk of having it back off enough to jump a tooth so I think you should be fine. If however you do have an APE CCT installed I would get it checked pronto.

when your guys' jumped time, did it smash the valves or mess up the piston or anything? didnt know if these bikes have the pistons that have indentions for the valves in em so it wont hurt anything if that happens
