get it! it's a great piece of machinery!
no mercury spills or anything like that.
I'm about the get the same one to do my TB sync...
some other guys i know have it and use it and love it...
or you can go with the ebay ones with the guages for a bit less...but the guages need to by synchronized over time as well...or reset to one another.

That is one awesome tool! MUCH better than dial guages... get one! BTW, I didn't see a price on their website. How much in USD do they cost?

it's like 110 shipped to your door...not more than 120 unless conversion factor gets jacked. abadfish just got one and another cat who i've learned lots of mech stuff from also uses it on his bikes.
that twinmax looks pretty decent...so essentially, uses 1 guage for all throttle bodies and you just switch back and forth to see the pressure at each eh?

this is from that website. I don't know what model to get: ''The 2-column Carbtune II will work on twins. The 4-column model will work on fours, triples or twins.''
Which of these would apply to our supersonic fighter jets?

you want the 4 column...cause you hook one up to each of the TBs...so if you had a twin, you only use 2 columns.
they do have the motionpro ones for cheap...but they use mercury...and it's an open element, which means that it can spill...or you can suck into motor...
you can also make a cheap one yourself...just get some hoses, a yardstick or something and oil.
the carbtune II is dope cause it uses SS tubes of the same spec for each column...so while the vaccuum can suck it up, it can't suck it though the motor cause it's solid piece.

I have been using the old mercury style for over 30yrs. Before that I had 4 individual guages. The individual guages are terrible!!!! But the mercury style (and I am sure these) are THE ONLY way to go. I am careful with mine and I haven't lost any mercury since I bought them all those years ago. Heck, they are older than many of you here!

dammit...i just ordered mines from the UK...
i'd do the mercury ones but they banned them in cali...so if it gets sucked into the motor...bye bye!!!!!!!! and more more refills...you can actually do the same using huge tubes or clear hoses filled with oil...of course you don't know how much vacuum there is but you're just trying to sync with like #3 TB anyway.
