Bahahahahahah!

THis post is absofriggenlutely hilarious!

Dont know how I missed it. RepsolRider, you know what I say about your race? The same as Chain. Way to represent!

Can't figure out what all the fuss is here. We all have RRs for one reason or another. It certainly wasn't because we could not afford one of the other liters.

When I went shopping I took the pics and resized them and laid them out side by side on the computer.

R1: Looks like a friggen bumble bee.

X10: Not a bad lookin bike if you can get passed bugar green and Agent Orange.

GXSR1000: You know why its so damn light? Look at the tinker toy frame holding the back tire. They cut corners to get that weight

CBR 1000: Spared nothing! The nicest frame, tank, exhaust, and even though I am tired of the damn feathers I still like the paint job.

Hey man to each their own but performance is pretty much the same at the end of the day for the average Joe. And last time I checked, Nicky Hayden was not in this post.

Its what you like on the outside that makes for an all around awesome bike.

Shit if it was 30 hp slower I still would like the CBR 1000

Man! Now that was fun reading. You could feel the testosterones fueling up. I espeacialy like the part about the Saran wrap. That Chain is a funny guy! . Just ride the damn bike and enjoy! We bought the one we wanted. Life is good.

Don't know where peeps get the idea that the 10 is the end-all shiz-nit. It was tremendously over hyped when it came out. Lot of the motojournalists have stepped back from all the BS they spouted when it was introduced. Why? Cause head to head on the track with competent riders the 10 is just one of four very fast liter bikes. If ever a cliche` was appropriate it'd be "you can't go wrong". R1, ZX10, GSXR or the 1000RR -- all damn fine bikes. Comes down to rider competence in any competition between them.

Backing down is not an option!

Well said...

I agree with Repsol. I think the street race with the CBR1000 is all in the holeshot. Our bikes are much smoother out the hole. If we can get a jump, we are not getting chased down. I have not raced a ZX-10, but the '05 GSXR1000 is supposed to be the new king and I have won against that bike

That should be, I hope you ride better than you read, not your read.

So I hope you ride better than you write!

I was not calling bullsh&t on ya, just if ya run a top alcohol drag bike on a semi pro level I was just wonder where and at what track. Tracks always have a web sites that list the point standings so I was asking where. Just looked up drag bike.com and sorry don't see where it shows a thing. So if ya are all upset at someone asking where ya race, because your the one saying you go 0-230 in 6-7 seconds then don't be mad at me. You said you do this and all I wanted to do was check it out. Sorry that made you so mad.

Sorry....I only understand monkey!!! I love people that think going straight is just such a breeze. I run a Top Alcohol Drag Bike that runs low 7's to high 6's at 230mph. Thats 0 to 230mph in less than 7 seconds there BadFish.........Any Monkey can turn left or turn right but can you go 0 to 230mph in less than 7 seconds BadFish and live to tell about it afterwards there BadFish??? Each type of riding has its own Pro's and Cons so don't bag on one or the other until you've mastered both.........Just my opinion!!!!!! WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you!

just do yourself a favor and dont stay in it til top end or youll see about 5-10 bike lengths on you.. the RR makes good tq and and has good enoough power to hang for a few blocks but the zx-10 has the most efficient of ram air systems on allt he bikes.. the ram air setup makes about 10-12 more hp once your up over 140mph.. once you hit top of 4th hell start to walk you..

Yeah agree with dat..CBR 1K got the torque to pull u off the line..nvr try with a 10R thou but with a R1. Got off the block 1st..change 2nd..change 3rd..change 4th..change 5th..and vroom there he goes!! Shit....

It happen to me everytime I raced with my 2 buddies..both on R1 04. We race till the last gear and u can see the 1K got left behind by a good 3 bike lengths.

Cheers!!
