Are you sure its not a CB 250? (nighthawk) I don't think I've ever heard of a CBR 250. The nighthawks have a tappet system I'm pretty sure.

Ah...gotcha
In that case, I have no clue, but most sportbikes, even the smaller ones, use a shim under or over bucket system.
