CBR 600RR looking to buy

Hey I am brand new whats up guys I am looking to buy a used CBR 600RR I like the 2003's in black or red I am looking for something that has a few mods, exhaust, rear fender delete, you know smaller things and with lower miles, at most around 8-9k prefer around 5k. Not wanting to spend a whole lot on one, most would probably be around 5500-6000 dollars. I live in lawrence kansas if you all have anything yourself or know of anybody wanting to get rid of one mabey around kansas post it on here and I will take a look at it.

first off good luck finding an 03 in that milage range i bought my 04 late in the year and went to Iraq for 2 deployments, this is the first sumer i have had it in the states and i put 5700 miles on it "so far" this summer (almost 8000 miles had 2300 on it when i bought it). so to find an 03 with less than 8k miles would be a tough, unless the owner hate's riding.

Is their anybody that can help me. I just got off a bike deal that went south (I think the guy was scamming me) and I really want to get a bike bad after I was so close to making the deal with this other guy. Any reasonable distance I will go to.

I think the problem is mileage that low is going to be very hard to come by. I wouldn't be so worried about the mileage since these bikes will handle ALOT of miles if they are taken care of. For instance, my 03 has a modest 13k miles on it. I say modest because the bike has always been a second bike, thus riden only half the time. I would broaden your mileage range a little bit if you are looking to get one soon.

just take ur time looking for it. My buddy got a 03 with 8000 miles on it for 4000$ if that helps in any way.
Or you could just get a brand new one...

An 03 for 4k, get some pictures of that bike, hell for that price I'll even buy it. But my better judgement says something major is wrong with it
