I'm gonna try and make it but, my buddy wrecked his bike and is waiting for parts and I am waiting for him to be ready to ride. It will be my first night in RO.

ill be there. meeting at the BP as usual at 6:30 then heading out to RO.

Hey any of you guys want to go to the tail Sept 1 - 4? I'm looking for a partner to ride to OH to meet up a couple more forum members then go down there. They have a trailor for the bikes. PM me asap =)

dude, im down. i have the 1st off and off work untill tuesday. been wanting to go to the tail, just cant find anyone to go with. pm me with some more info about this trip as well as details on everything.

Did you guys meet up this week? I was gunna head out and the weather didnt look promising at all and it did rain a little up here in flint. Just wonderin.. I am gunna try this coming weekend. I'll make it before winter damit.....

as long as the weather is good (no rain), meet at the BP as usuall then convoy to RO. thursday it wont rain. so far, the weather is looking like sunny skies. but you know how michigan weather is....snow, rain and then sunny and 65* all in 1 day. lol

I might just have to get the snowmobile suit out...lol. Shit, I am gunna ride untill the snow flyes this year. Hopefully the weather holds up and I will jet down there. Yeah you never can tell here in MI, weather is by the minute. I dont know how weather man/women can even pridict with the changing weather around here...

Ok, so this week is forshure. Is anyone else heading down there is week, so am I screwed untill next summer? Its not too late I hope. Its just hard for me to get down there on Thursday's. But I am going to make it happen as long as it is going down still. Someone let me know.

i would be there this thurs, but i sold the bike. plus ive been working extra hrs at work for me to get my next bike quicker. but im pretty sure RO is still happening.

Well thats good news. According to the Redline Website it is going on this week and next week then it is done for the year. I was doing to start my winter tear-down, but I am gunna hold off a few weeks. 97F3- Catch ya next year. Good luck on that new bike. I am looking for a newer 600 RR, that has been downed that is fixable. If anyone knows where I can get a 600 RR project, PM me.

well i just excepted that the season for riding is over..happy that i made it my first year with no damage to the bike..6770 in one season.

just buy a snowmobile!

Was up in Gaylord, MI at my cabin last weekend, there was like 3-4 inches on the ground. It stuck around for like a day then it melted. I had to take the sled and put around the yard real quick. I am still holding out though, I hope I can get a few rides on the bike before winter. I am like 80 miles away from 3000 this year. Not bad for not really riding it out of the flint area.

I didn't notice this thread...I live in Dearborn, but I gave up on Royal Oak bike nite because the police were giving every one tickets...literally going down bike by bike with a little computer ticket machine giving tickets for every bike parked at a meter without time left and also if more than one bike was parked at a meter! I guess they don't like us too much, I even saw a guy get a ticket for no DOT sticker on his helmet.

The riding season isn't over for me, because I pretty much commute all season long (no winter joy rides though).

Reading some of the previous replies, it looks like I missed some good rides...oh well, maybe next season?

i just got my bike about two months ago and have not been to royal oak yet on it but i used to go there in the car to check out bikes and its awesone im from from west bloomfield michigan about 15 minutes from royal oak

Yeah I never heard that shit. I didnt end up making it down there this year, but if the Fuzz is out like that picking on people then I am out. Damn I got enough problems with my bike and the fuzz already. The other day I rode it a mile and a half up to Euro Motorsports out of Davison, and while I was there chatting with the guy who owns it, a cop pulls in behind my bike comes in and starts giving me shit cause he said that he had reports of a Flat black bike with loud exshast (which if you seen my bike is a exact discription and you got to love those D&D pipes) fleeing a pull over (which wasnt me) and high speeds on near by back roads (which was probley me). Anyways he did nothing but talk shit to me cause I pointed out that he couldnt prove that it was my bike causing all the trouble. He said they will be watching out for me. Well looks like I am gunna break out the paint gun and change up the color. But that is crap. Cops need better things to do. We cant even have bike gatherings anymore.
