Thanks to the tireless work of Musichyp and Doncollins I'd like to introduce the CBRForum ROTM Calendar for 2007 (will contain 2005 ROTY and possibly December 2005 ROTM). This is the way it will most likely appear although there may be some changes before they come out:
At this time I can't give you an exact cost -- it depends on how many orders we receive. The more we order as a group the cheaper they get. Plan on them running from $6.00 up to $12.00 including shipping.
How this will work:
Think about how many you want and check the appropriate poll response. This is not a binding contract -- we just need to gauge interest and get a reasonably close idea of how many we need to order. I'll leave this up for at least 3 weeks and maybe a little longer. After that we'll be able to give you a set price and you'll need to pre-pay using Paypal. We'll have a closing date for accepting pre-paid orders and after that we'll order everything and ship them out.
The calendars will be printed on 100# glossy paper on 8.5 X 11 paper.
Price will be per calendar -- if you order 100 or more we may can cut you a special deal ... PM me personally if you want massive quantities (anything over 10). Remember, this isn't binding but in order to get the pricing right it needs to be reasonably close. You gots plenty of time to mull it over.
thanks,

Cool. I'd get one for work and one for the house,,,,,and if I ever made it on the calander, I'd buy tons....
I'll get one but it'd be really cool to get pics of the riders next to or on their bikes. Kinda a prop for them and all their work....

WOW only 19 members want a Calendar? Whats up boyz and Girlz? They are cheap!!! NO CHARGE OVER COST!!! Not like this is a profit venture!!! We will be charging the cost of Production and shipping only!! No design cost at all!! I thought the members here LOVED CBR's!?!?! I mean everyone needs a clendar for the year anyhow! How about one with CBR's and not only that, the bikes of people you all chat with everyday!! Did you need a loan for the $6.00? lol Let's get some interest people!! look at all those page views and not even checking the "No thanx" option......hey just so you know it doesn't charge you right now to click a choice! LOL

Wow! That is surprising that only that many have voted. I thought for sure tons of the members would sign up for at least one for their garage.
$6 is a lunch of burgers & fries.

I just put it up this weekend and the site is usually kinda slow. Hopefully while everyone should be working they'll check it out and put in a request.
We'll blitz our bandwidth with references to the calendar shortly and try to get everyone's attention. It should be clear to most that nobody really cruises the ROTM section although for the life of me I can't figure out why ...

Count me in. When available I'll take two, for work & home. Awesome idea and even the thought of the rider standing next to their prize possession would be cool too.

Photo Shop some hot women in a few of the pics and it would simply be perfect. I'd probably take one or two. Need a garage calendar and maybe one for my office.

Not trying to be a design snob here, but I kind of am one anyway. I think the bikes represent themselves well enough without needing to add a lot of flare to the images. Beveled edges and other assorted photoshop knick knacks (Patterned frames, gradients, background colors) distract from the intention of the calendar. I would also avoid using multiple fonts, particularly in a single line of text.
I would love to have a simplistic bottom half (Dates with holidays, black/white) and a high gloss full bleed image on top. I wonder if the biggest problem you're going to run into is not having high resolution images for decent print quality.
I would make the obligatory "not trying to offend anyone" statement, but this is a biker forum and you guys probably have lizard skin anyway.

Even if you are taking a picture that is 800x600, and you want to turn it into an 8''x10'', you can still convert the pixels at the production studio without stretching the picture. Just wondering when these will be done also. (I like what you've got!!)

Thank you for your opinion -- of course you know what opinions are like so please feel free to think that we value yours immensly.
As stated earlier, this thread is intended to let us know how many we need to order so we can get a price -- not for artistic expressionist type ideas. The calendar will look pretty much how it looks now with possibly a few minor changes. If you like it then order it -- if not then don't. Unfortunately we can't please everyone -- but so far I'm happy as a pig in sh!t with the results so there ya go

As a biker with lizard skin there was no pain from the suggestions.....and as the primary designer to this point allow me to reassure you that the resolution has been taken care of with each picture, what is being seen here are not the final copies but rather a decreased size and resolution being used to show a preview of what will be available.....rest assured the final product will be at 300dpi resolution and in CMKY color for printing purposes....but once again thanx for your feedback, it has been filed for later refference.

Thanx man...as for the finished product we are shooting for december shipping there are a few things still in the works but when we know we will let everyone know as well....as said prior this is an interest poll prior to ordering so it will depend on a few different things....

If you have headshot, I would make them kinda small an off in one corner because I would want the calendar to admire the bikes. Although the people that did the work would be great to know. I still want to see the bike more than anything.
