CCTL: What all do you need to buy??

When replacing the factory CCTL.....what all do I need to buy??
 
I know I need the gasket & the CCTL, but do I need anything else (like part number 8 or 13 in the drawing) or is it included?????
 

You need 5, 13, and of course number 4 if your putting the stock one back on it.
 
I strongly urge you to get a manual one though. I replaced the stock one on my 01 f4i about 2 months ago (4k miles) and it's already going bad again.

where are the parts websites where you find those diagrams? also, where can you get a manual tensioner?

How do you know if your cctl is bad?
 

youll hear it.. sounds like something rattling around.. just do what i did and bought a bolt washer and nut... works and better then buying a whole new cct

will it rattle at idle if it is bad or is it higher rpm?

15 for shipping? what are you trying to do to our fellow members?
search around for mods you can do to the stocker to keep it working fine.
so far, the noise hasn't caused any damage in the F4i...but overtightening the APE has.

15 bucks alot for shipping? cosidering i dont know where he lives and i live in ny it is possible that it costs me more then 15. to many times in the past i have had to foot the bill for a product being shipped and i made no money off of it. i paid alot for this part and would like to try and recooperate at least 30 bucks of my money and i am being honest about the parts shipping up front. i have almost bought parts on here were members go 50 bucks for a part and later have come back right when i go to pay and tell me there is a 60 dollar shipping charge

cctl is small and not very heavy...$5 parcel post...anywhere in the US...aside from alaska.

no im not chargin 60 read that again. i was supposed to buy a fairng for 50 bucks from a guy and he came back and told me there was a 60 dollar shipping charge. between that and the fact he didnt have paypal i refused to buy it. if you give your zip i can go to the get a shipping rate for you today ill do 30 bucks plus what they charge for shipping it. its in a box and ready to go.
