I was wondering if anyone had opinions on chain companys, best and cheapest place to buy
and how many links do i need for a 01 929

RK or D.I.D. are both excellent chains.

I use an RK acceleration kit for my F4. It is a stock geared rear sprocket and a front dropped one tooth with a 520 chain sold at kneedraggers for $160. This combo works well for me.
