Your going to laugh when I tell you.
You know the range hoods that go over stoves that suck the air outside over your stove. Well theres a filter that goes over the fan. It has this wire mesh on one side thats just flat and the other side its kinda slanted. I took the filter apart and you just have the mesh with a black screen, a white screen and another flat mesh. Get rid of the flat mesh, black filter and white filter and you have a nice cool mesh left over. Just cut the mesh a little bigger than the hole you wanna cover and just use a hot glue gun to secure it to your fairing on the inside. Just make sure you dont put any glue on the fairing where the rad hoses touch the fairing. Trust me.....lol. This stuff is easily bendable and also easy to cut.
Total cost for 2 filters $10.

Mom is going to be pissed when she sees what you did to her stove

I'd like to see bigger, better pics too. Send them to me and I'll post them up.

I actually saw someone on another site who had it done to their 954 and thought it looked really sharp, I liked how it cleaned up the area hiding the frame and shit on the engine.
I'll try to get some better pictures tomorrow.

looks real good, i'm thinking about using apc grill mesh, the real shiny chrome looking on my 1krr, i think it'll look good on the red and black. looking at yours i think i'll try it, cleans it up, and like you said it hides all that crap under the vent well.

looks good man. seems to go along with you paint pretty well. i think i'm gonna give it a shot. maybe paint the mesh black before i put it on. anyway, where did you get the filters from. is that just a standard filter that can be picked up at home depot or somethng?

Hey actually you paid to much, lol, I went to HomeDepot and got some gutter gaurds for 98 cent a piece (2 total) for my 04 CBR 1000.
LOL. Easy mod that gives you a more complete, clean look.
