Chicks flashing you...

OK... I'm an older guy (almost 48) and this hardly ever used to happen when I was younger, but nowadays I get flashed regularly by some fairly hot young ladies (and a few not so hot ). Not that I'm complaining or anything, but what is it about our bikes that prompts them to do this?

I'm fairly certain this wouldn't be happening if the gals knew I was old enough to be their father. I mean when I'm in my gear, I could be 18 or 80... I could be as handsome as a movie star or as gruesome as a zombie -- they have no idea, yet they still flash.

Anybody have a reasonable explanation for this?

well iam older than you, but that hasent happen to me yet.maybe you have a nice bike or something that makes them feel they have to get naked.

im 25 and thats only happened once to me. how bout the ones that try to get u to pull over to the shoulder goin down the interstate. seems like thats more common here in kc.

last night i went to blockbuster to get a movie for my wife and i....at the end of the lot there is a starbucks where alot of people hang out...when i came back outside i had about 5 very attractive women talking to me and wanting a spin through the lot...it seems that a wedding ring and a motorcycle are the ultimate magnets...btw the wedding ring is the real kicker, i have never been aggressively approached by a woman until after i was married...god's a smartass...

Hmmmmm it would seem there are some dissappointed guys out there? It is plain and simple, chicks dig bikes it doesnt matter. I ride with alot of guys and there is a variety of bikes....I have seen a chick take an '87 ninja 750R over a '98 cbr 900 or so much as to even pick a Bandit 1200 over a brand new gsxr 1000!!! They pick the bike they like and think looks pretty to them or a combination of the bike and the guy on the bike.....but as Chain said at the start..........IT'S ALL BECAUSE THEY HATE DADDY!!! LOL

WTF I've not had one chick flash me yet! I guess I'm just too ugly and they can see through all my gear. /shrug

LOL i must agree. i get more attention now that im married than when i wasnt. and i get flashed all the time when i ride. i like the summer months

Hmmm... I never thought about the particular area I was riding in, but it doesn't really seem to matter. A few times it's been near a mall, but other than that, I can't think of any place in particular that it happens.

I've never had a gal try to get me to pull over, but have had a few wave and smile. The ones that flash always seem to be several in the car. The weirdest one was I was sitting at a stop light and didn't even realize a car pulled up to my left with 4 chicks in it. I casually look over and the front passenger has her jublees** pressed against the window. I was stunned and sat there for a minute after the light changed and they took off.

Again, I ain't complaining... just think it's strange.

Damn, that's awesome! I haven't had this happen yet...at least not that I've seen. I usually only stick to 2 lane roads, so maybe that's why. I've had chicks stare and wave, but no flashing as of yet. What roads, what mall and what time of day? lol

Yeah, from St Louis County, not the city. I live in Kirkwood and I have been flashed on the highways (270, 44, and 55) and on 4-lane roads. Come on over and we'll go for a spin. Can't guarantee any flashing will go on, but we can still have a spirited ride!

Young girls nowdays simply have no respect for themselves or how they portray themselves to others, especially guys. The skimpy outfits, tons of makeup and trashy way of acting are sadly the "norm" of the day for many. DUH! They get attention this way! It's just society as a whole (look at me, look at me!)

Just last night, i was out to our local county fair and saw many, many young girls wearing things (low cut shirts, stilletto's) that "god forbid!" I wouldn't have been caught dead in when I was that age. (well, that my parents would have let me wear) I'm thankful that my parents had the sense enough to be my parents and teach me right from wrong and didn't try to be my "best friend" and let me do whatever I wanted. I guess I'd rather wear something that doesn't show off all of my assets, but accentuates them and but let's people get to know me for who I am and not what I am portraying. But, to each their own. OK, off my soapbox for now!

+1 Rocket1; especially from a guys perspective, it is all but impossible to guess their age....and thats a real problem!!!

i agree girls are dressing ridiculous now and its getting worse. I mean im 20 and im disgusted when i see little high school girls dressing like the girls on the corners in NYC. This doesn't mean i don't mind when a chick flashes me or approaches me cuz i look hott on a bike, but in regards to the other stuff they do it's out of hand. It's fine for a girl to dress more open with short skirts and such (im not gunna complain about that my gf looks incredible in skirts haha); but she respects herself. to quote the movie "Waiting": 'Just because I dress slutty doesn't mean I am slutty.' If a girl stays tru to that then i say let her wild out!

I'll have to agree with the last few posts. Some girls are all skanked out in the latest ho gear even while at the store or where ever. Then you see it late night on TV with the girls gone wild and wild party girls video commercials. Every time I see the commercial, I have to wonder how many dirty old men or what ever bought the video only to see their daughter or sister or something on one of the videos. I'm sure with the law of averages that's had to have happened.
