i have chacked with several otlets and they say that the 04-05 willnot fit the 06 i did manage to help az motorsports locate one that they say will fit he is sending it to me and if it does not fit he will pay all shipping fees for the return.

The '04-05 Sportech screen DOES NOT fit the '06. It comes close, but it doesn't look right. Believe, me I'm selling an '04-'05 Sportech screen on Ebay right now because I made this mistake.

i spoke wuth az motorsports and they have back ordered one for the 06 he found they will not fit

i bought an airblade screen for my 06 , though the screen was an 04/05 and it fits like a dream , im sure they do them in chrome so just run a search on ebay , you can check out the look of mine in dark smoke from pics in profile .......... it was not to expensive either

Hobbs have you installed your windscreen, I have the same bike you have. I am looking for a metallic/chrome blue windscreen.

Got a sportech black chrome from my dealership and it fit my 06 just fine. Already canned it for the Magical, but talk to Brad at superbikesupply.com

My Sportech doesn't fit on my 06 very well either. Some people say no problems however. Mine has a noticeable gap above the 3rd cyclops light in the fairing. The side fit reasonably and the bolt holes line up, its just that damn gap.

I had an 05' 1000rr bought a tinted screen and when I updated to 06' 1000rr I kept the screen and it fits on the new bike fine!!!
