OK !! I took all the fairings off, and degunked and detailed the inner part of my bike.
I need a few fairing fasteners to finish my assembly. (although the bike is back together) I have attached two pixs of three fasteners. Anybody have two of each (or one of each would get me by) fairing fasteners they can send me $$$ ? You can email me direct at captbruce@fishbruce.com...
also, anybody got a WHITE leftside Mirror off a 1990 600F ?? The bracket broke just before I took delivery. (attch.pix)... I found out I need a new rear tire 140/70/17 (dry rotting) and rear brake rotor too. Probably ready for a new chain too... Anyway, Luv the BIKE !! I hope to hear from anybody, Be Safe !! captbruce

I normally go to a place like http://www.mrcycles.com and use their fiche finder parts catalog to look for the part #s and then I go to http://www.servicehonda.com/parts.php and order them, they are cheaper from there.

Thanks, rrasco... Thanks for the links. You couldn't have made it any easier.
The mirror was $87 discounted !! Yike !!
I might be putting the aftermarket ones on there. OR since I have the patients of a Buzzard, I might just keep scouring eBay. I do have 2000 successful eBay auctions under my belt... Is this a GREAT Country, or WHAT !! Thanks, again. captbruce

thats actually a good price for the mirrors, I might do that next summer :)  I have aftermarket ones on mine and they are tinny and buzz a LOT :(  www.bikebandit.com has a lot of stuff as well.

Hey Guys, It's not like I'm a "Cheap Operator", BUT... I "JB-Weld'ed" the PotMetal bracket back together and and reinstalled it. I'll see how it holds up and go from there.
I really can't believe how many of these CBR's I've seen were laid-down, at some point. Man, that's gotta Hurt !! And why doesn't Honda and the other Mfg'rs install frame-rollers as STANDARD equip.?? (too busy selling fairing parts probably). Anyway, I polished it and everything looks Cool !! I still need a rear tire and rear rotor (The rotor is in the WORST condition I ever seen a disc.) plain old SHOT !!
OK enough for now. Be Safe !! captbruce

OK !! I swear by JB Weld !! The break in the mirror Bracket was about 1-1/2" long (good coverage for JB) around the spring "break-away" system. I cleaned all parts with Laquer Thinner and oiled the breal-away so the JB would not stick to it.
I have had in on two days so far. I have secured the mirror body to the bracket with 300# clear monofiliment fishing line in case it comes off in traffic. "Trust NO one" !!
Hey, I'm just a "Fishing Guide" from Key West, Florida... what do I know...
anyway, I still looking for a white left hand mirror for my 1990 F1.
Be Safe !! captbruce
