seriously though, unless it is a show bike, its not a good idea. what is going to happen if it ever lays down.
that clear cover is going to shatter big time. not to mention that unless it is made to withstand a lot of heat it could melt on you.

all right di(khead
resorting to profanity is the sign of a very low IQ
have you ever heard let alone seen a magnesium cover take an impact & not crack?
yes they normally scrape not bust completely. i have seen hundreds of rashed up magnesium covers that still held oil.
& the real point being, people can do what ever the F they want to their bike
not if i were president
what world is it OK to rag on their sh!t?
mine
he didn't ask what gays think of clear covers
so you are a gay basher now huh, people can go to jail for that now be careful. i bet you are a christian redneck too arent you
he asked where can you get one
but your point..
yea plastic, no one would use that for any kind of high stress or impact points, right?
like weapons, guns, race cars, all aircraft including hyper-sonic jets
guns dont use plastic they use a polymer agent that is stronger than plastic. here is link that i think you may find helpful http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polymer. i work in the gun industry so i guarantee you i know more about this than you do. also as an added fact the polymer pistols use steel in at all the stress points. race cars also use carbon fiber and polymer as well as hyper sonic jets. the clutch covers in question are made of lexan. although lexan can be made to be very tough, in fact very thick sheets of it are used for bulletproof glass, the stuff used to make clutch covers are not that thick. they cant be and still fit the bike properly. whats more the metal covers are made to shear down in the event of a low side. the hard lexan will crack and break immediatly.
yea your right, genius
i usually am, and my last IQ test scored in the 180s so i guess i am a genius arent I. so junior take your noob 34 posts somewhere else ok. let the big boys play and you go find something else irrelevant to whine about.
This is entertaining

. although id have to agree. why not just get a harley. its like putting 24's on a honda civic. "race not rice". what a waste what some people do to a CBR. i guess whatever makes them happy. lol.......
